BIOfutures on World Futures Day
Following from the success of earlier BIOfutures conversations, we’re delighted to announce further episodes with thought leaders in biomaterials, biodesign, and bioinnovation. In contrast to our inaugural series, rather than run nine consecutive episodes over a period of several weeks, we’ll roll out three sessions in a single afternoon, starting on March 1st - World Futures Day.
Hosted by Bioratorium® on Substack and supported by Lifeboat Foundation, the event will be part of a bigger conversation around our possible futures. Rolling out worldwide, World Futures Day features 24-hours of rolling 1hr events that go around the globe and feature prominent future thinkers including pioneer of the Internet - Vint Cerf.
A member of the Lifeboat Foundation since 2013, our founder Dr. Melissa Sterry has invited three of the most exciting minds working with nature worldwide to join her in discussion: artist, designer, and certified scuba diver exploring intersections between art, technology, and living systems Kasia Molga; Planet of the Grapes founder Samantha Mureau; and biodesigner, engineer, and BIOcrafted founder Chris Bellamy.
